Nice  :airquotes: ghetto :airquotes:

too bad my neighbors don't take the same pride in their surroundings. the privacy fence is so i don't have to look at them.

maybe ghetto is a little over the top, but i live in a very old neighborhood with a lot old houses on city sized lots. i am lucky enough to own 3 lots, most of the lots in my hood are only 50' wide and the houses are small and in disrepair.

Nice lawn and the hostas like great.  Hostas are one of our favorite plantings.

i'm that guy, you know the one. lawn always manicured. not a weed insight. friends threaten to plant dandelions in my yard just so they can watch me lose it.  ;D

all the hosta's in front of the front deck i split from one monster this spring. i have around 10 different varieties around the yard. they are a great filler that grows like a weed. :)

Our neighborhood's look very similar except a lot more weeds in my lawn.  And spring is long gone here.  We are in the midst of summer and +100° weather.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough shade at our new house for hostas

Very nice birdy!

We probably have 10 or so varieties of hostas as well in our flower gardens. They do grow very well.

it's funny how i look at photo's from other parts of the country and say to myself how much it resembles here.  :)

Very Nice, you would love my neighbour's garden it is beautiful as well.
In my spare time I would rather play golf then garden, so my yard is a mess.  I have employed gardeners to come in and fix it up.
I had a mini-rainforest at the front of the house, which they have cleared and mulched for me. They will be starting on the back yard next week, it is going to cost a fortune as we have so many palms that need cutting back and clearing.
