Uisce and spacey.

You two deviants have the day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_Day_(Utah)) off?

Floating holiday at work.  We have six fixed and four floating.  I choose to use mine for something better than watching a parade in 100* heat.  Besides, my pioneer heritage is limited to Mícheál O'Nuallain moving 20 miles from Carlow to Wexford about 400 years ago.

Farking parade traffic downtown was a mess at 6:45 AM.  I hope I can get out of here without too much trouble.

P.S.  Exactly *how much* time do you have to surf the intertubes at work?

Indeed he did.

1/2 of my heritage crossed the plains with handcarts, so I'm going to celebrate their legacy by getting drunk at a BBQ this afternoon.  [sm_beertoast]

(I'm also taking tomorrow off (put it on the calendar yesterday ;) ). 4 day weekend bitches!)

Hey!  I just thought of something.  I'll get drunk today too and celebrate with you in solidarity.

I just remembered I have been with my BIL several times when there's still snow here to play early spring golf in Nauvoo!

Where you freaks got kicked out of.

Slai`nt!

Wow.  Took stroh damn near 'til lunch to find a reason to get hammered tonight.  He's slipping.

Probably stressing out about how close he is to Independence, Missouri.

It'd be just like if you had Broad Arrow Day.

You let me know how to remove HGTV (gives the wife ideas, don't you know), and I'll let you know the secret of BYU TV. Quid pro quo 'n' *feces*.

I'm duly impressed. How bad do you have to want it to WALK from the Illinois/Iowa border to SLC, 1200 miles or so, in winter and pushing a farking handcart?

9 wives or so, I'd say.

I figger if your man or woman enough to walk 1200 miles pushing a handcart, 9 wives is either 8.5 too many, or not quite enough.

That's serious feces. Maybe Gramm was right after all.

Wimps. They stopped in Utah because they heard about what happened to the Donner Party in the Sierra Nevada. They weren't willing to HTFU and eat the deceased like the Donner Party did. I suppose they simply passed off cannibalism as "immoral" or something.
