Title: Damn work is still here
Post by: Spanky on August 07, 2007, 11:15:42 AM
So two and a half weeks of vacation are done. Got back to work on Sunday and all the BS and problems are still here. Way too much to do and not enough people. At least now they are seeing that. We have manditory vacation this quarter and when one person is out all hell breaks loose becuase we just can't get all the work done.

They are looking to bring in another person. Finally!

I'm dialing in on the answer.  I think the trick is to leave work and never come back.  My theory suggests the work won't follow.

Now... about that sticky little 'money upon which to live' problem.   [sm_dontknow]

Igor, would you mind telling me whose brain I did put in?
And you won't be angry?
I will NOT be angry.
Abby someone.
Abby someone. Abby who?
Abby Normal.
Abby Normal?
I'm almost sure that was the name.
Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?

By the way this also might answer AV's question

Figgerd it out.

A slow moving intersection.

A bedraggled look.

9 days of beard growth.

And a sign that says SMYLE.

I cleared 1700 bucks take home just last month.

One of my dad's co-workers is gone right now.  They usually manage to "keep up" with the work output, but is it really "keeping up" when you leave before 6 a.m. and get home anywhere between 8-10:30 p.m.?  Right now it's his supervisor that's away, which means he has extra responsibilities besides the work he needs to be doing.  Such as taking phone calls from doctors, and many times the calls go done bunny-trails about hobbies, etc - my dad just wants to get the work done, just wants to take the important part of the call and go back to work.  Phone calls are one reason why he doesn't want a supervisor position.

But usually they're pretty good to him.

Write it with blood or feces, and it will look more authentic.
