stroh, I was going to post a question as to how the storm situation is down in PS land, but apparently it has started.

So, I guess I should warn you about flash flooding in the area.  A few years back there was flash flooding so bad that there was flooding across Ramon Rd in Cathedral City area.  Water was running so deep that the islands in middle of Ramon Rd could not be seen.  Several golf courses were severely damaged.

I guess it's happened already.  Probably not as bad as what you were reffering to, but I heard a lot of people talking about flooding and rods closing, plus I see signs up every where.

The good thing for me is I don't go that way*

My compass is bad here, I think in terms of North and South and this place to me doesn't seem to lay out in terms of East and West, but I'll go with it.

* I'm in Palm Desert, and don't have to go passed Bob Hope.  Have only been through Cat. City and into P.S. proper one time to meet with some work folks for a beer.

Basically I head (what I call North ) to Costco, or (South) to 111 LaQuinta and spots in between.

So far, so good.

Favorite course so far is Indian Springs off Jefferson and Fred Waring.
