Its Saturday morning, Georgia and I have already been for our morning bike ride. ;D
Just thinking about doing a few things around the house and grocery shopping [sm_disgust] [sm_disgust] [sm_disgust], then Georgia has a big birthday party to go to this afternoon, so I have a tee-time booked at 12.30pm ;D ;D ;D !!!
Russell is playing in a Holden Scramble at Mareeba tommorrow, and I will be playing golf again at Mossman tommorrow!! ;D ;D

Going to a housewarming party on Saturday.  Sunday will be football, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL!

The grandkids will be here in an hour or so.  Still Friday evening for us. ;D

Building a compost bin with the boys and cutting the lawn tommorrow am with the boys.  They love to drive the tractor (I have complete control, and they are belted to me and the seat.)

G-daughter will likely want to go back to the stable to visit the horses.  They will want to watch television that we don't have available (no cable or sattelite), so.....

I'll take them to the nature preserve across the road for a long walk with the dogs.

We've talked about some things.  A festival here, and there(bands, beer, rides, etc.) but nothing concrete.

It's still very early on Friday afternoon, and history has taught me not to plan too far past the next beer.

We'll see.

We/I are pretty booked for the next 5 weekends(work, seminar, wedding, work, etc) so this will be the last "free" one for a while.

last night, hit the downtown bars, woke up today at 1pm.  tonight, goin to a house party.  tomrrow night, going to a casino.  sunday, going to the beach and kayaking.  :)

I built my compost bin last weekend.

My wife just left for a weekend yoga retreat, so I've got the young one for the weekend.  We just got back from a bike ride (me on the bike, spawn in the trailer).  Then I put a video on and spent the next 20 minutes chundering (the funky soup I nuked for lunch had a chemical taste, which isn't unusual considering I work for a chemical company; after the second taste, though, it was just getting fouler and I threw it out; taste stayed in my mouth for a good while thereafter, though).

Tomorrow, "we" are thinking of driving out to the zoo.  Spawn has never been to one.

Sunday, the usual manly brunch, followed by hardware and DIY stores and then a picnic lunch at my work.  Nothing wows the little one better than playing on the machines in our fitness room.

Mmm Hmmmm!  Yes sir!  You are livin' the high life.

At this point of my life I don't "do" anything.

Life just sorta happens to me.  Every now and again I'm actually involved in the process.

I'm hoping it throws a mellow buzz, a few rugby matches and maybe a BBQ london broil at me.  That would be nice.  If it throws a backyard lawn mowing I'll try to duck and let it hit my son.  I'm kinda slow though.

11:00 am Miami visits Norman to get their ass kicked in the rain so I'll be watching that at my friends with the boy.  Wife is going to the game with her father.  She isn't too pleased with the forecast.  Not sure how you they'll play football if it rains 3" during the game.

Then I'll continue to watch football and my son the rest of the weekend.  Good times.  [sm_drink] [sm_eekdance] [sm_headbang]

6 year old has tackle football game today at 1100.  Funniest thing in the world is trying to watch 5 year olds tackle when they can barely hold up their heads b/c of the weight of the helmet.

11 year old football game today at 4:00...working in the yard this evening. 

Sunday...will have to wait and see how much rain we get from Gabrielle.

Last night I started my third year of helping out behind the scenes of the concession stand for the local h.s. football team. A friend's wife runs the show and roped me in.

Today doing yard work, helping Susan with all her flower gardens by spreading wood chips, splitting flowers and whatnot. Just taking a break for lunch now. I will be going to the range later this afternoon because.......

Tomorrow is a big Golf day. I've been playing on the 24 man team for my home course this summer and we are in the semifinals of our division.  2 man better ball matches, 3 points each match (front 9, back 9 and total 188). I'm paired with a +0.6 tomorrow so I don't want to embarrass myself.

Well as this is the end of my weekend, I am sitting in the living room, boys are in bed, wife is out with the girls and I am sitting here watching TCU beating up on Texas. I am also feeling a little sorry for stroh.

There was a change of plans on Sunday.
I ended up going to Mareeba to play in my first Holden Scramble.
I got put in a team with 2 guys with handicapps of 10 & 7.
We had a great day, but none of us could putt.  It was so exciting to be on a par 5 in 2, to be putting for eagle.  It was a once in a lifetime experience for me (putting for eagle on a par 5!! ;D ;D ;).
