Title: French Fries Post by: twoiron on January 06, 2007, 04:26:05 PM I read an interesting fact about French Fries.
"....There's a French Fry under the front seat of every car in America..." Title: Re: French Fries Post by: dystopia on January 06, 2007, 04:29:09 PM Sounds right. I'm sure there are a few fries under my car seat right now.

Nope, no fries. :) Wait, what's that smell? ??? Oh hell, that's the last time I leave the dog in the car when I go to the store. [sm_shock] [sm_disgust] Title: Re: French Fries Post by: Eagleone on January 07, 2007, 08:43:11 AM Probably a good bet especially if there are kids in the back seat!

Title: Re: French Fries Post by: twoiron on January 07, 2007, 08:17:17 PM Not in our vehicle. what about mashed potatoe? Title: Re: French Fries Post by: Aske on January 07, 2007, 08:46:07 PM gffdap
Title: Re: French Fries Post by: E-A-G-L-E! on January 07, 2007, 09:33:50 PM Not in our vehicle. what about mashed potatoe? Well, I usually eat more than one (somewhere between 2-4), so make that plural "mashed potatoes". That's just a light meal, mind you. But not in the car. If we eat in the car, which is rare, it's on-the-go type foods (non-crumbly, non-messy, no need for a plate stuff). ;D Title: Re: French Fries Post by: E-A-G-L-E! on January 07, 2007, 09:36:19 PM Title: Re: French Fries Post by: Clive on January 07, 2007, 09:42:38 PM Good French Fries, Diced And Parboiled

Everyone who has ever had a child in a ski lesson can't hear the words "french fries" without immediately thinking "pizza". When I first arrived in the States my entry interview was with an INS officer in Blaine, Washington. He told me that his son wanted to be a french fry when he grew up. As I haven't heard otherwise I have to assume he made it. You can't substitute the words "french fries" in to the phrase "fish and chips" without sounding like a complete doofus. 29.3% of all American restaurants which serve steak/house fries do not have malt vinegar available. Bastages. McDonalds is responsible for 1/5 of all known evil but their fries are da bomb. Title: Re: French Fries Post by: Clive on January 08, 2007, 09:43:44 AM Burger King's fries kick the living *feces* out of McDonald's fries.

I'm shocked! [sm_shock] Are you referring to the BK fries from days gone by or the crispier BK fries after the recipe change in the late 90s (with the secret transparent coating)? Actually, either way, I'm going to side with Uisce Beatha on this one. [sm_enguard] My fast food fry rankings 1. McDonalds fries 2. In-n-oot Burger fries 3. Poutine* 4. Title: Re: French Fries Post by: campy on January 08, 2007, 02:55:28 PM Nothing beats the Redhook beer battered steak fries we used to get around here. We switched food distributors, and they are no longer available. :sad3:
