today's max realfeel supposedly 95 you'd think it's hell on earth here, all the yinzers bitchin and moanin (yes, it is a bit warm for this time of year). the same people who still wear full pants/sweatshirts and stuff in march/april when it finally kicks into the 60's for a change. Title: Re: stoopid global warming Post by: birdymaker on June 06, 2008, 12:21:04 PM had to google yinzer :D
Title: Re: stoopid global warming Post by: spacey on June 06, 2008, 12:30:22 PM Well, according to accuweather.com the RealFeel is 66° and it's partly sunny. Looking out the window, I can assure you neither is correct. Cold, windy, gray storm clouds, rain imminent. Glad I resisted the urge to bring two wheels instead of four to work today. I already rode home in a nasty rainstorm once this week. [sm_disgust]

[sm_disgust] this guy from univ. utah gave a seminar yesterday , claimed his wife phoned him overnight that their home (10k foot elevation) had 1 foot of snow ? I believe the latest storm brought snow as low as 7k feet. I think Snowbird's ski-lifts are still running too. By this time last year we had several days above 90°, I don't think we've even gone over 80° more than a couple of times so far. Very bizarre. (Also adding much fuel the local "so much for those damn liberals and their global warming" rhetoric.) Title: Re: stoopid global warming Post by: Clive on June 06, 2008, 12:42:23 PM We're vying for record highs here. Missed yesterday by 2*; today we may have equaled it (97*). The records are from 1943.
