I missed any coverage, but did catch about 2 hours of 'Bama bashing by my 20 something Y/O neighbors last night.   ::)

Every time I wanted to say something I just put the beer can back up to my mouth.

These times are so strange and mysterious, I wouldn't be surprised to see the four horsemen come around the corner any second now.

Agreed but here's what I got out of it: An endorsement first of Hillary, second of certain Democratic ideals and, distant third, of Obama.

Obama still has to be nervous that the Traveling Sisterhood of Pantsuits will go McCain. 

Ideologically speaking, I've always found Hillary to be much more similar to McCain than she is to Obama. I guess the question as to who her supporters will vote for will hinge on whether they were voting for her ideology, the historical nature of her candidacy, or just the fact that they like pantsuits.

Those who like her ideology are probably better off going with McCain. Obama's candidacy is historical as well, but I think it's a lousy reason to support a candidate. As for pantsuits, I think it's probably a tie.

All the whining about FL and MI and how Obama "stole" the candidacy is sour grapes. The candidates knew going in that FL and MI wouldn't count. Hillary admitted as much. It wasn't until it looked like she could really use those votes that she started making a big deal out of it.

I don't know if the Clintons have finally shown their true colors, or if the rigors of campaigning just caught up with them, but I haven't been impressed. They've come across as arrogant, petty, and power-hungry. And I was a fan of Bill's presidency. I was surprised to see "Slick Willy" become such a nasty jerk.

And don't get me started on Bob Barr.

I watched a little bit of it on tv.

The camera's kept panning from Hillary to Michelle all the time, and you could tell that Michelle hates Hillary's guts.  Michelle had this type of pained closed mouth half smile on her face most of the time during Hillary's speech.


I found the standing ovation clapping every 10 seconds kind of annoying. ???
