Title: Chowdaheads...
Post by: gleek on December 25, 2007, 10:53:08 PM
...paying big bucks to see history made in the Pats' regular season finale.

Of course, a loss in the playoffs will render the historic accomplishment meaningless.  ;D

It would be quite bittersweet for the Pats to go 16-0 and then lose their first playoff game.

Bittersweet nothing. It would be *goshdarn* spectacular. Or in the vernacular: freakin sweet.

Oh yeah, I will celebrate myself. Nothing I want more than to stuff the "One game at a time" attitude into the Pats' faces.

If Coughlin is smart he's resting his players and you know Belly-chick wants at least an undefeated reg. season, 16 and Oh may be a forgone conclusion.

The playoffs, not so much.

I still wanna see the Boston Patriots run the table, for several reasons.  :o

Ps. Last time I checked it's not on TV and that's a shame.

Seriously like 2 weeks ago I saw John Kerry on TV doing some senate mumbo jumbo thing trying to get this game aired, that was the last time I looked in to it.

Could have been hallucinations though. The latter part of the 70's and most of the 80's were pretty rough on Seamus.

Well, if you really want to see the game, you either have to buy those Giants fans tickets, or order the NFL Network.

Either way, same price.

Wow.  Three network simulcast.  It'll be interesting to see which broadcast team comes out on top.

D'oh!  Maybe I should read.  [sm_anon]

The Patriots-Giants simulcast will be the NFL Network's feed, featuring broadcasters Bryant Gumbel and Chris Collinsworth.

It doesn't mean that the local market will actually carry the game, as of right now neither NBC or CBS are airing that game in the Seattle market.
