Seeing that the weather is alot better for everybody at the moment, I was wondering who on golfhos, is actually playing this weekend!!
I will be playing Sunday and Monday (long weekend here!!!! ;D)
What about you guys!!!

I'll be working.

Not looking good here. Weather is teh sukk and if there's a break, I've got too much work to do in the yard. My earliest hope is to squeeze in 9 holes after work sometime early next week. Otherwise, I'm playing in a tournament on Thursday.

Probably not.  Now that spring is here, there is a lot that needs to get done that had to be set aside during the winter months.  We still have a lot of things in storage due to the way we moved, and we'd really like to get through this stuff before another winter arrives.  I'm happy just getting out once a month (which is my goal for this year).

We might get out this weekend, but don't know for sure if we will be able to.

rofl, Kev!  At times, we are so totally opposite. FYI, Mom wants to get a lot done on the weekends this summer - apparently, Mom has a lot of Saturdays like the last in mind.

Rain forecast through the weekend, and the few breaks we do have will be filled with yard work, and family *feces*.

I was just upstairs talking to Karen.  We were talking about the rain, and how green everything got.  She said ".....(you)Really should have mowed the other day."  Haven't mowed yet this year, but thought I could push it off 'til Saturday.  I said "I'm planning on doing it early Saturday, before it rains."  She says "I thought you were playing golf tomorrow."

Now, when the wife looks at you and says I thought you were playing golf, your one and only response has to be  "Yyyyyeeeeeeaaaahh.      I uh, well of course I am.  It's Saturday.  You know.  'Cause I play golf on Saturdays, right?  Yep."

At this point, you could have the city set to condemn your property on the same day a storm of the same magnitude, rocked Clooney's boat,........it doesn't matter.

You just got a free pass.  You're playing golf.  Period.

Planning on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday if weather permits, Sunday is guaranteed.

I am playing in a little match on Sunday. Chaska Town Course (good guys) vs. Pioneer Creek (?). 24 man teams, 2 person better ball matches. Should be fun.

This is the first year my son Alex, 11, is really able to play 18.  As long as he's got the desire, it is my responsability as a good parent to encourage him and escort him around the course  ;D  Its tough being a good father, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Good news the tornado threat may keep the other golfers home so we can have the run of the place.  Hopefully the weather holds up for at least nine.

That's a good point, tornadic conditions should put the handicap up by at least 0.1

I was out driving around just before noon and the conditions were cool, breezy, and cloudy. It looked like some rain might be looming, but overall not too bad. I figured conditions were pretty good to go walk on somewhere as a single, so I came home and loaded the clubs into the car and drove up to Bountiful Ridge. Within about 15 minutes, the temperature dropped roughly 10° and snow started falling. I decided maybe I'd just come home and watch Wachovia instead. I s'pose that's about as close to golfing as I'll get before Thursday.  :sad3:
