"People have been going inside, taking pictures of the stall, taking pictures outside the bathroom door — man, it's been crazy," he said.

On their way to Guatemala, Jon and Sally Westby of Minneapolis made a visit.

"We had to just stop and check out the bathroom," Sally said. "In fact, it's Jon's second time — he was here last week already."

*shaking head*  Lame.  Of all the the things to see in Minnesota....

Head up to Little Falls, see the Charles Lindberg farm.  Go to Hinckley, see the museum that records the city-wide fire.  Head of to Bemidji for Paul Bunyun Land.  The James J. Hill house is beautiful.  Kelley Farm is a fun experience, especially for kids.  Or some other historic site.  Then there's the Mall of America.

Where the clock always reads: 5 SST.

All season long, it's 2 for 1's on turnovers in NFC North games.

Apple turnovers?

I hear there are 10,000 lakes up there.  That probably includes any puddle where more than two mosquitoes congregate but I bet three or four are nice.

I've heard of Lake Minnetonka. (I've seen Purple Rain.) That's one. Don't know about the 9,999 others.

Actually, the total is 11,842 lakes over 10 acres in size.  So no, that's not counting the puddles.

Yeah, there are a lot of nice lakes.  White Bear and Bald Eagle are 2 nice ones near the cities.  Red Lake and Lake Mille Lacs are quite popular to vacation near.

White Bear has had some loons (see avatar) on it for the last few years.  Last time I was out fishing during the day, we ran across at least 5 families.  It was so cool.  My dad drove the boat up very slowly (like the trolling motor as low as it will go) and we were able to get pretty close.  There's also a family of bald eagles on one of Manitou Island's points.  The fishing is good, too.

Oh, yeah!  Now if only I could get the hang of those baitcasters....  Guess I'll have to stick with the light muskie bates for now.

;D And yeah, stick with the ones that won't throw you in with them when you cast them. :D

Ugh! [sm_anon] Enjoy it, Kev, 'cause it's one on the few you'll ever catch.  You, on the other hand, should be thankful that I don't point out every one of yours.

You know I meant "bait"; and if you know I can spell baitcaster right, then you certainly know I can spell bait. :P

The lures won't throw me in, but I can't say the fish won't. ;) :D

And you're in about the same boat as I am. :P
