Typical MN sports team.  Make it to the playoffs, then disappear.  Other than the two fluke WS wins by the Twins, that the M.O. for MN sports.

i really hoped they would win, because i thought a wild-sharks matchup would be great. but deep down, i knew it wouldn't happen.  hell, neither team might adavance at htis point

Very disappointing effort by the Wild. As much as I'd like to rip Gaborik, who the hell else showed up?? I know we had defensemen out but you're not going to win anything if you need 1-0 and 2-1 games every night to have a chance.

Good thing they picked up Simon at the trading deadline.  :sad3:

LMAO at the following exchange between aske and Fuzzy:

Unfortunately they'll draw redhot San Jose in the 2nd round
 [sm_shock]

Last 10:

San Jose  7-1-2
Wild     7-2-1

I like the way the Wild have finished the season. A month ago they were on the verge of missing the playoffs the way they were playing.

Until Lemaire leaves his defense first line thinking, and puts together a few lines that can score consistently and making the other team react to what's on the ice.....This is exactly what we can expect.

You know, when you Google Image for a funny little 'postmortem' photo it can really ruin your breakfast.   :-\
