Title: Manchester - Milan Post by: Spanky on May 04, 2007, 02:30:10 PM Watching on Fox Sports...no offense to our Scottish brethren but I have been watching for 20 minutes now and though I know the announcer is speaking English, I haven't understood one word.
On the game though, Manchester is looking lost. Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: TFT on May 04, 2007, 03:56:36 PM They are lost because Ferguson is Scottish too....
It's OK though, most of the effin team are foreign and don't speak English either. Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: stroh on May 04, 2007, 04:34:58 PM Is this soccer, or cricket? I really don't give a *feces*, but don't want to sound stupid when I rip the lot of you about it later.
TIA Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: TFT on May 04, 2007, 04:36:00 PM Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: Spanky on May 04, 2007, 04:50:56 PM To answer stroh it is soccer. I don't know if the game was a replay or what but the announcer's accent was so thick and he was talking so fast I caught about every 4th or 5th word.
Oh and Manchester lost. Not that I am a fan of either team. Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: stroh on May 04, 2007, 04:51:51 PM All right then. Thanks, brotha.
Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: stroh on May 04, 2007, 04:54:09 PM Would it have been better if Renton Laidlaw was calling the match?
I could listen to him all day. He's dreamy. Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: TFT on May 04, 2007, 05:05:56 PM Hey spanky did you hit that Spectrum yet?
Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: TFT on May 08, 2007, 05:32:55 PM Well, did ya?
8) Title: Re: Manchester - Milan Post by: Spanky on May 09, 2007, 07:04:58 AM Yes. I did. It works great in the wind down here, and when the fairways start to dry up it should also give a nice roll. I use to have a Spectrum/Evo combo and I forgot how much I like the sound of the Spectrum. The 8* might be a bit low but I can work on ball position to try and get a little more height.
