It is not my responsibility to tell you every single thing you need to know about this place, especially when you don't bother asking anything to begin with.... let alone to anticipate every failure you will have in adapting to etiquette/culture here. I am your co-worker, not your supervisor/boss.

LOL, that guy is gone, has been a while LOL. Fortunately. This is a new group of morans. The closest thing I see here to anything appropriate (and I usually go just at the "minimum acceptable level"... lol) ... still misses by a mile. A very cheap, wrinkled , generic brand looking (like target or walmart "brands") dress shirt with very worn out jeans. Everyone else is in "knit sweaters" and jeans or , sweatshirt+jeans, or worse, a sweatshirt/sweatpants combo. This thing is in the luxury box of our univ. basketball arena.
