Hope for good things coming up for you... Title: Re: this is kinda cool Post by: birdymaker on January 26, 2008, 07:22:38 PM i just got an (entry level) dslr, a canon d60 6.3 mega pixel. it isn't new, but it's in real nice shape. i only have two lenses so far a sigma 2.8 50mm macro lens and a cannon 1.8 50mm. i have a sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG telephoto lens on the way.
i also have a Panasonic - Lumix 7.2MP point and shoot which will hold it's own. just nowhere near as versatile as a dslr. so as you can see, I'm pretty "well equipped". ;) Title: Re: this is kinda cool Post by: Aske on January 27, 2008, 07:48:16 AM cool photo of one ugly house

Are the lenses EF or EF-S (especially that Canon 50/1.8)?i also have a Panasonic - Lumix 7.2MP point and shoot which will hold it's own. just nowhere near as versatile as a dslr. The macro lens also should prove surprisingly useful for portraits. 8) Title: Re: this is kinda cool Post by: Aske on January 27, 2008, 06:11:01 PM hopefully not self-portraits
