Title: throw some recovery wishes Sal's way
Post by: Aske on September 06, 2007, 08:21:41 AM
she' currently out of it on painkillers (vicodin) from having 3 of her wisdom teeth removed.
(yes, she's a bit older than usual for that.  difference in usa vs. greek dentistry i guess)

1 was erupted, 2 were impacted.   already chipmunk cheeked about 2 hours later.

the good news was this was her 1st anesthesia experience and she came through with no complications.

Sounds very similar to mine (I was in my late twenties). I got severe post-surgical muscular inflammation and ended up with trismus (similar to TMJD) for nearly two weeks. Heat is your friend.

Good luck.  [sm_beertoast]

Ouch, that sucks.  I had my wisdom teeth out during college, and they were impacted.  I remember it being a rough moment when the prescribed painkillers ran out.  When I could finally eat, I remember having to eat mayo sandwiches while everyone else was eating turkey (I think it was Thanksgiving or Christmas).

Good luck, Sal!

I thought a wishwich was a stroh-persimmon moderator manwich (http://www.freegolfinfo.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=2216836&mpage=2&key=&#2217036) (aka vegemite on white).  ;D
