Title: Taxes
Post by: stroh on March 14, 2009, 08:43:43 PM
Who's done?  Who's not?

Picked up this years Turbo Tax a while ago.  The only reason I haven't done it yet is because my hard drive on the main pc is still dead, and just being lazy.

Plan to do it tomorrow.

Ya'll?

Done. Got screwed on an energy credit for replacing our windows we were hoping for. It was suspended for 2008, which is pretty awesome.

Started mine but need to finish. We are going to end up paying in a little so I've been less than enthusiastic to get them done.

Oh, there'll be retribution if necessary.

My mom was totally ashamed for me for waiting till the deadline.. (family of accountants and all...)

I'd sure let you take the Greek forms to the IRS while I'll sit back and laugh.

I did my taxes a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting a nifty refund.

Then I found a receipt for a $300 and I'll get even more!!! 8) 8)

You can claim golf trips as deductions up there?

Actually my wife claims the trips as a business expense.  All those trips are to yoga seminars and I just tag along for the golf. 8)  She claims air fare, hotels and meals.

Only if you're self-employed.  ;D

Ours was e-filed several weeks ago.  We already got the state refund but had to send the IRS a check this week.
