End the Iraq war? Great, but overnight? Can't start spending the money until its really over and I think he's passing far too much optimism around on a time frame for what the 'end' is. End tax breaks for corporations? Gee thats awfully specific. Which ones? (some actually serve an altruistic, lib loving, purpose ;) ). Do you really get back significant money? (much like 'tax shelters', we have no idea how much or how effective they even are). Gimme specifics on which ones and how much and I may be able to get behind it. Tax carbon pollution. OK. How much does that give us though? I'm guessing not much. As I've said before, the Obama camp may believe they can get elected on a cult of personality, but at some point he's going to have to provide details. I see all width and no depth to him right now. |
