Title: Sitting Here in Beautiful Kiawah ...
Post by: Clive on September 20, 2008, 08:57:43 PM
and I didn't bring my golf bag!  Packed everything from my usual C130 into a smaller, lighter Titleist stand bag.  Couldn't get it into the back of the car, what with the everything else we were bringing for a week at the beach.  We made it here, went through the gate (I feel so elite), and slowly drove by some awesomely gorgeous golf holes.  (Based on Yahoo Maps, it was Cougar Point (http://www.kiawahresort.com/golf/cougar-point/).)

Man, am I kicking myself right now.

Rent a set and play the Ocean Course.  You'll kick yourself forever if you don't.

Damn, that sucks.  Did you pack a frisbee for beach activities with the spawn/pooches?  Maybe you can squeeze in some Frolf on the Ocean course at dusk.

I called and asked about club rental rates and greens fees.  Playing the Ocean Course with rented clubs would set me back more than $400.

I think not.

I called and asked about club rental rates and greens fees.  Playing the Ocean Course with rented clubs would set me back cost more than $400 after throwing in dinner and drinks after the round on my company's corporate expense account.

I think not.

Fixed.  Enjoy the round.

Hey Clive, being a lawyer, can't you work it out that the round of golf would be some kind of a tax deduction. ;D ;D ;D
