Woke up early and went for a 20 mile bike ride. Came home gave the lawnmower a tune-up, cleaned up landmines and mowed the lawn. Went to Home Depot, bought a new screen for my screen door and some paint for the kitchen and vertical blinds for the patio door. Came home again, replaced the screen, washed windows (entire house), and then hung the blinds. Ate some ravioli for dinner, now drinking wine (a decent, but not spectacular Beaujolais) and watching The Godfather Part II.

Tomorrow: Golf, if the weather doesn't get too craptacular. (My nemesis hole awaits.)

Woke up way too early, froze my ass off riding the motorbike to work.  Worked until it warmed up, then did a couple hour ride.  Crashed a couple of times goofing off in some snow.  Now drinking a coke, and sanding my shaft for a hybrid installation later if I play my cards right.  Tomorrow, hopefully an early morning ride, followed by 18, weather dependent of course.

This sounds painful, as well as kinky.

Which  may be part of the same thing, now that I think about it.

It's probably illegal in 37 states, as well.

Woke early, four-hour "bike" ride including three backtracks (took a new route, no GPS), drooled over new model bike that I can't have, family time, nap, family time, father-child time, watched The Motorcycle Diaries with the missus.

Now: bedtime.

Ever used a manual de-thatcher on a lawn, do you even know what one is? I actually had 2 people stop there cars and asked about the device I was using. It's a good thing that I went to the driving range first.  :sad3: Our front lawn isn't terribly large, maybe 300 or 400 sq. feet, so I thought I would just do it by hand, man am I paying for it now it took 4 hours, boy I'm a cheap s.o.b.

So...today, just took a muscle relaxant to stop the spasms, enjoying a fine cup of Starbucks (which really is a waste (see muscle relaxants)), and soon I'll be La-La. Somehow I have to find energy later to mow the yards and drop some seed/mulch combo I bought for the front bare spots.

Please tell me some of you played today. It's a beautiful Western Washington morning right now, the bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle, a bit chilly, but very nice.

I'm trying to decide if I should go back to bed or make some eggs.  This might be the most activity that I put my brain through today.

Was supposed to play nine at 1:33 today, but my wife didn't get home in time to spring me.

Decent to good day for golf around here today.  Looking to get out for nine myself. 

I got out for my first 18 of the year. Weather and schedules are finally cooperating in MN.

A little rust with the short game but overall I was extremely happy with how I played.

Almost got out golfing, but my cousin ended up not being able to go, and Nat was at her friends house, so just been helping out a lot around here.

Ahhh... Saturday golf... had a solid 74 in the comp.  Got back from the course at around 5:00pm, no -one home... everybody at the neighbours place getting 'merry'... oldest son having his 5th birthday.

Sunday, up early to clean out the garage... local council having a 'Hard Rubbish' collection.  11:00am had some people come by to pick up a washing machine I sold on ebay... the girl was an absolute stunner...

Late afternoon neighbours youngest son's 3rd birthday... this time we're off to Burger King....LOL.

Today, being Monday... work...

That's the one. Parred it today (missed a 5 foot birdie putt  :sad3:), which was kinda cool. Other than that, I played like the suckiest suck who ever sucked. I quit keeping score but I will almost guarantee that I didn't break 100 today. (I blame it partially on all the *feces* I did yesterday, I woke up this morning sore and exhausted.)

I played Washington National, although I did break 100.

My best move: Locking my left knee and topping a 3 wood off the tee at 15, which put me in the waste area (although I at least made it past the ladies tee. Barely. Well, it really depends on how you measure it  ::) ) right after 3 putting 14 from about 10 feet.

Yep, as was mentioned, I went to a friend's house for lunch.  Her uncle and my dad used to go up to the BWCA together when the Torp and I were younger.  Between the talk about fishing, hunting, and sports (which even combined wasn't all that much), it was just obvious that I'm the daughter of "RatherBeHunting". :D

WOO HOO!  The outdoor ranges are opening up!!! ;D ;D

It was sneaking up on 60º today, so I decide to knock out a bucket of balls before I go to work at 3pm.  I get to the range, but I don't have any cash. No problem, I'll use my ATM card.  Well, they don't accept ATM cards.  No problem, they have a cash machine, so I can withdraw cash to pay for the bucket.  Except the ATM machine is out of order.

I go outside and watch people hit balls for a few minutes, then go home.  I guess my 6 month layoff has just been extended for another day or two.

You de-thatched your lawn by hand?  My dad, at least, knows to delegate that task to Kev and I...

Hope the muscle pain goes away soon (if it hasn't already).

That had to be disappointing.  :sad3:  Hopefully, you can make get out to the range (or, better still, a course) soon. :)

I'll go to the range tomorrow, but I'll have cash in my pocket! 8)
My course opens next weekend, so I've got a few days yet before I get out there.
