I can't blame that on the OS. I especially like the fact that it boots up fast as hell. From the time the BIOS loads, I'm typing my password to login within 15 seconds. The only thing that really annoyed me about Vista is the folder type templates. This feature makes the detail view in Explorer change depending on the types of files contained therein. When it comes to file management, I'm pretty old school. I only want to see the file name, extension, modification date, creation date, and attributes. I don't need to see the track number, artist, rating, etc. But as with anything in Windows, there's a way to modify the registry to turn an annoying feature off.
