Title: Eagle- chess experiment?
Post by: Aske on April 26, 2007, 07:54:09 PM
would you be interested to see if you can go 25 moves from this (very well established equalish position) ?

you can pick either side of the board if so...

1. c4 c5 2. Nc3 Nc6 3. Nf3 Nf6 4. g3 d5 5. cxd5
Nxd5 6. Bg2 Nc7 7. O-O e5 8. d3 Be7 9. Nd2 Bd7 10. Nc4 f6 11. f4 b5 12. Ne3 Rc8
13. a4 b4 14. Nb5 exf4 15. Nxc7+ Rxc7 16. gxf4 Be6 17. Nc4 Qd7 18. Kh1 O-O 19.

Certainly would be willing to give it a try.  I'm going to switch over to the desktop 'cause Kev wants the laptop.  So give me a few minutes to get over there and then several more to set up the board.

don't know how many moves I'll get in tonight, though.

still thinking on my next move.  I looked at all the other surrounding pieces, but I neglected to look at what your bishop could do.

This could be a very short chess game....

Well, I was away from teh internets for ~ a week and a half in there.  I was debating between that move and another one.  And since you messed up my other plan of attack, I thought I'd try a new one. :D

One thing I'm pretty certain of is that I'm not going to make it 25 moves.

As I'm sure you can see, I've gained a ton of momentum in 2 moves.  Moved piece forward, moved piece back to original position. :-\  This could be a very long, short game.
