Title: Wow, an equipment related post...
Post by: twoiron on April 13, 2009, 03:29:49 PM
I've been struggling with a hook for quite some time now, so this past weekend I regripped all my irons after a period of experimenting with grip sizes.

I've taken them from a standard grip with two papers and regripped with a midsize with two papers.

It increases the overall weight a little bit, but changes the swing weight due to a little more weight in the butt.

At this stage I'm pretty happy with the results overall as I've been able to slow down my hand action almost completely removing any sign of a hook :D

Gawd I got to get my eyes checked. I swear I read "I've been struggling with a hooker for quite some time now".

So how does bigger grips and more paper (tape?) help a hook?. And I'm assuming the opposite is true for a slice (is it?), and why?

And shame on you for posting an equipment related post, I hope you sleep nights...sheeesh!
