MSN is the worst offender.  It's whole premise is transparent although I'm sure they like to think it's not.

I see a headline of an article that interests me. (First this headline link is already on a page loaded with ads)

I click it and it takes me to another page with that headline, and the first sentence of the story followed by a link to "Continue to the story."  (But funny, this is on another full page filled with...huh? funny;  More ads.)  I click to continue and finally get to read the article (which is broken up by paragraphs with even more ads) only to have been forcefully exposed to now 3 plus pages of bull*feces* advertising dollars.

Having to chase a pop ad all over the page to close the *fudge*er, assuming you can find the close button in the first place.

Basically if money is put aside X number of years, and then distributed why does the tax liability all have to land in the year of the distribution?

Especially when I'm limited on the amount I can set aside in one year?  I can't restrict them on the amount I can be liable for in one year.

Let's say you are feeling a bit peckish, so you walk down to the vending machine and buy a bag of, oh let's say Nutter Butter Bites. You are stupid enough to turn the bag over to check out the nutritional information and see that they're only 110 calories per serving. Then you see that the recommended serving size is 10 pieces, and there are approximately 3 servings per bag. You eat the whole bag anyway, because after careful consideration you don't think it's up to the bag to tell you how many *goshdarn* Nutter Butter Bites you should eat in any given serving.

I didn't think that boys gave a dam about calories etc. :o

If you are going to eat vending machine crap, rip the packet open, and eat it with gusto, and don't give a dam about anything!! 8) ;D ;D ;D

I was a little light today, so I bought an unfamiliar, cheap brand of cigarettes. I think one of the additives is petroleum based, because these things burn pretty much instantly.

So I get this ipad.  Love it.  In fact I want to buy another one.  My daughter has pretty much taken squatting rights on the one I just got.  >:(

Anyhoo.  I take a pic with this super-duper camera on the new gizmo...of my driver.  Go to photobucket and no way to upload it.
WTF?  I turn 90* to my right on my mac and have full functionality.....so I email it to me from the ipad, download, upload, yada, yada, yada.

I started this thread with that *goshdarn* beep of the horn on locking the doors.  Bought a new car this week.  Chevy Equinox.  Love it.  Hit the lock button......no noise.  Hit it five times........It doesn't honk the horn.
Now, How the *fudge* do I know my car is locked?  Hate!!!

so you got the new Ipad... other than your OP, how do you like it?

Love it.  I want to get another one.  So light, so quick and powerful.  The display is awesome.  email is great.

I really like like it.  Like I said, I'm just starting to get to use it for "real stuff" so my opinion may change or I'll have more complaints but for now it kicks ass.

I can't really compare it to 1 & 2, but for what I want it to do it's pretty good.
I only got the wifi version as I can tether it to my samsung galaxy if I want internet on the go.

What does a Chevy equinox look like?

Basically Chevy's: "Ford Escape"  Small to mid-size, good milage SUV.

We had an Escape in '05.   Loved it and was all set to go buy a new one (Need a new ride for the new job, plus traded both trucks for better gas milage)

Started to do some research and was blown away by the comparison on the Equinox vs. the Escape.  Mainly on features.  The one we got is like the bridge of the Enterprise.  This *fudge*er does everything.  Amazing.
And only 2k more for a brand new one compared to a 2011 used Escape with 30k+miles.

did it come with the option of the "stormtrooper" seats?
