Along with putting with the flagstick in, playing out of turn, grounding the club, and a whole host of others. I say 2 per hole is very conservative. I never say anything unless I'm asked. (People I don't know, or just met by being paired up with.) I figure if they are out there to have fun; Play the they way you want to. If I KNOW or suspect I'm OB, I'll hit a provie. OTOH, if I find out it's OB when I get there, I'll drop. And I don't want to contribute any more to a 5 hour round. Fire when ready too.
But on the other side of the coin I play most of the time as the rules state. Only time I really veer is like stated before. Most people I have played with it's very much the same, the only blatant infractions are more to keep up pace, scores don't count toward anything and we are just out for fun. |
