Considering the aspects of the original labyrinth in Greek mythology,  it's pretty funny that the director's name is "Del Toro".

Who releases a product the day after Christmas?

 [sm_scratch]

Actually, their is reasoning for that.   And the reasoning behind that is there will be a lot of returns about that time, and while other things will be sold out, that product will be fresh in the market and fully in-stock.  Not to mention gift cards, people who go shopping for the gifts they didn't get, etc.  Also not too mention, it's one way to get the hype up for the product.

I have a friend who writes code for video games, and their deadline is to have the game ready and shipped out to stores for the day after Christmas.

:shhh:
