Milla Milla is about 2 hours drive from here, it is situated in the Atherton tablelands and it is dairy farming country. We towed the golf buggy up there (the golf buggy had its first trip anywhere ;D) and we had a great time and it was one of the prettiest courses I have ever played on. The AFL Grand Final took place between the Cats of Geelong and the Hawks of Hawthorn in front of 100,000 people at the "G" In a tight contest the Hawks came out on top. While Geelong had more of the ball, inaccurate kicking in front of goal led to their loss. Next week "Festival of the Boot part 2" takes place with the NRL Grand Final between the Melbourne Storm and the Manly Sea Eagles ;D |
