It's Friday...(you yanks have to wait until tomorrow to say that ;D)Yee haa. ;D

Russell and I are going to the Mareeba Open again, for golf, it is a great weekend, very social. 
Mareeba is about an hours drive west of here.  There are heaps of kangaroos on the course, so I am looking forward to seeing them.

Dudette......it's been Friday for me for a month now.  ;D

No big plans but I guarantee I'll get to the range. It's suppose to be nice this weekend. And I'll be doing some work around the house.

I can't remember if the wife works this weekend, so it really depends.

Depending upon weather (rain is supposedly 50/50 on Saturday) housework on rainday and golf on the other.

Cut grass today, cut in a new vegetable garden bed after that.  Forked in about 2 yards of compost too.

Yard work tomorrow, soccer and baseball games then the youngest's 6th birthday party on Saturday.

Saturday: All-day motorcycle ride (full leather, baby!); Mrs. Clive and Fruit-of-Loins are going to a local Highland Games thing.

Sunday: traditional Clive+Fruit-of-Same day outing, followed by The Building of the Raised Beds.  Might wear chaps for that -- haven't decided.

Let's see, there's the wild game tonight, but it's still Thursday here.  :D

Um...maybe a trip to the library...I have some books to return...maybe there will be one or two to bring home.  Then maybe begin a new book.

Otherwise I have no plans for the weekend. 

...Oh, oh, oh!  There's always some crochet project.  Maybe I'll work on something. 8)

Looks like some yardwork Saturday morning, a short ride Saturday afternoon (full leather, baby! Though I need to go buy a new helmet, the one I'm wearing is absolutely killing me) and then over to friends to watch the Jazz stomp the Rockets. Sunday- nurse inevitable hangover, then if weather isn't horrible a ride in the afternoon.

Friday afternoon....drive to Roanoke for oldest son's AAU Basketball tourney.
Saturday....two games
Sunday....two games and then drive back.

I'll be fixing a broken sprinkler pipe in the front yard and, assuming all goes well, watching a lot of hockey.

Change of plans include replacing the pull start rope thingy on the push mower.  Feckin' thing broke on the first pull yesterday.  Box springs broke yesterday, that means shopping for new mattress and box spring.

Sometimes, it sucks to be me.

went to wine tasting (theme:usa.   suck)
went back to play more pong (and won)

saw avs beat mild- won

Well we had a great weekend at Mareeba.
I played like an old moll as usual, I started off really well, and I thought I was going to have a pretty good round, but I had a few eights and I ended up with a 74 net and Russell had a 72 net.
There wasn't that many good scores and I looked at the leaderboard on Sunday and I was coming second in my division (I should has never looked), well I struggled out there, I was mentally drained by the third hole.  I had some good holes, but I had mainly average and bad holes. I ended up with a 79 net. :-[ :-[

Oh well, its only a game and we had a really nice couple from Cooktown who were  our partners, and we are looking forward to saying "Hi" to them again, when we go to the Cooktown Open in May.

Didn't do my Saturday ride -- calling for thunderstorms.

But instead, I did honey-do items and got the entire weekend to tour next weekend!

Spring finally arrived yesterday. 75* Sunny. Played outside with the kids.  Hit some golf balls.  Sat and drank beer.

Good times.  8)

Spring has arrived here three times already.  #4 scheduled for next weekend.  Today looks to be a beautiful, sunny, winter day.
