A legendary Italian restaurant in New York turned 100 this week - and so did its prices. John's of 12th Street celebrated with a lunch menu costing pennies, the same as it did in 1908. The chicken parmigiana dish went for 75 cents instead of the regular $US14.95 ($A23).
