Title: Oh, the humanity!

Mine accidents rarely end happily. Consider that around 3000 people were killed on 9/11. This is absolutely tragic news.

We had one of those here recently.  Tough stuff indeed.  Some friends of mine in high school worked in the Carbon Co. mines in their early 20s.  Worst job evar so they said.

I've been in a coal mine, and there isn't any way to pay anybody that works in one enough...

Emmylou Harris is still way underappreciated after all these years.

Was that Rod Bennett playing 'Rhythym'?

If you like Harris and you like Knopfler then All The Roadrunning is a must have.  Best album released in the last 2-3 years.  How it didn't walk away with every award is a complete mystery.  Probably something to do with it being very difficult to classify/categorize.

I wouldn't know Rod Bennett from Santa with his teeth knocked out by a battery.   ???

The location should give it away. (http://www.golfhos.com/topic-4909.msg60547#msg60547)

They made that record the same year that Dylan launched a return. I'm not saying that makes it right, but that's the reality.

Sounds like they're going to get all of them out:
