Well, I am supposed to be playing golf today (Saturday), and Sunday.  But it has been pissing down raining again!!!!! [sm_disgust] [sm_disgust] [sm_disgust]
Golf is not looking good at the moment.
I suppose I should do some work around the house, as I had to go to work everyday this week, the place is looking like a bomb hit it.

I'm probably having a fistfight with the guy who lives two doors down in about an hour. Tomorrow is my nephew's 2nd birthday, so I have that to attend. Sunday I have a tee time.

Oh, do tell us about the fight!!!..............Anything to liven this place up!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I'm sitting at work waiting for the basketball tourney games to start.  I got in early today, so I'll probably leave early. :)

No plans for the weekend except to catch up on my sleep and work on taxes.

I'll let you know how it goes. He's a little bitch who won't answer the phone when I call, but waits until I'm not home to call my wife and rip into her.

I'm going to change into my fighting clothes in a while.  ;)

Don't we all have that guy in our neighborhood?  Mine has money falling out of his pockets and drives a Jag but his wife is a pig and his daughter "entertains" half the high school while he's at work.  Kicking his arse wouldn't be half as much fun as just watching his life go round.

I was enjoying my office, which I have named Fortress of Solitude.  Then I refereed a fight between two doofuses who live a couple doors from one another.  (I disqualified them both for Rules violations.)  While they were sitting on the curb tending to their bruises, I called their wives and ripped into them.

Well, I guess that answers the question I asked in your thread.  :sad3:

Got up at 6:00am, family still in bed, went out for breakfast.

Went to the course, closed sign up (rained quite a bit yesterday), stopped by the station and filled up with gas on the way home.

Got home, blinking light:message on answering machine, get your arse out here.... they just opened the course, family still in bed.

Drove back out to the course, played 10 holes with Tom, Dean and Jerry...rained out.

Came home, family awake, vacuumed the living room, checked the weather radar, another shower moving through shortly.

Came downstairs to the family room and turned on the 'puter, roamed about.... came here..... posted this reply.

Golf on TV at 1:00pm and will probably go back out to the course around 3:00 and see if it's dry enough to play some more..... otherwise probably go to the driving range and beat some balls.

Not supposed to rain tomorrow so I'll get in at least 27, maybe 36.

Well doesn't your life suck.

Got up to go for a ride this morning, as it's my only "personal time" this weekend.  Printed out my route, left at 9AM on the dot, hit stop-n-go traffic on the brief stretch of interstate just 7 miles into it.  SUV behind me almost hit me because driver was paying more attention to her cell phone that the road.  Swung over to white line (right side of lane) to see how far to next exit, where I could bail out.  Swung back into middle of lane.  Swung back to white line, looked up, and was nearly hit by trailer add-on mirror of enormous white SUV driving illegally up the shoulder to get to said exit.  Thinking quickly, I shouted "*fudge* you!!!"  White SUV slammed on brakes.  Black SUV behind him, making same illegal maneuver, slammed on brakes, skidded, stopped inches from white SUV's rear, and laid on his horn.  White SUV driver looked back at me, seemed to contemplate getting out.  I pondered wisdom of providing free karate lesson, then killed ignition and deployed sidestand.  White SUV took off up shoulder.

I took exit, looped back around to same interstate homeward bound, and went to office.  Cleaned things up, packed personal items away to bring home.  (Part of personal firewall implementation: personal items should not be permitted at work, as they are not work-related and access therefore is denied.)

I should clarify here that this was no "I'm a tough-guy, and I'm going to kick his ass" move on my part.  If he did get out and come at me, the last way I wanted to meet him was while I was straddling a 500-pound motorcycle with the engine still running.  One push and the bike and I both go down, probably with my left leg under it.  I shut it down to get the hell off of it before he got out and got to me.  The mental soundtrack went something like, "*feces*!  *feces*!  *feces*!  Get off the bike! Get off the bike!  Get off the bike!  *feces*!"

damn, that's messed up.  So much for some relaxing, personal time on a quiet Saturday morning. :sad3:

That happened to my dad - well, not some guy coming up and pushing his bike over, but the bike landing on him.  The burn especially wasn't pretty.  :(

Took my car into the body shop to get an estimate... came out to $1600 and some change including labor.

Got nudged by a raised excursion a few weeks back, their insurance is taking care of it.  But if they had been driving a sedan, I probably would have drove off without exchanging info.  Just because they had a raised truck with a grill guard, it dented in the entire backside of my trunk.  lol.  the price you pay.

Just finished checking the phone wiring in the house. (one of the phonejacks wasn't working).  Luckily, I didn't have to crawl around under the house to fix it.

Now about to move our router from the kitchen into the office.

Georgia has gone for the day with her dad.
Russell is at work, should be back soon.
I've just stacked the dishwasher, and I have the Kraft Nabisco on tv.
It's a beautiful day, and I have got a game of golf, happening this afternoon. ;D

Just got back from a long bike ride. My ischium feels like TFT's must have after being sodomized by his mailbox. I'm trying to decide whether to put an ice pack on my ass or just drink some beer. Also arguing with Monte about whether my bike riding fatigue is a reasonable excuse for not giving him a walk. I'm losing.

Fill up a cooler with ice and beer.

Sit in the cooler.

Better yet, mount wheels on the cooler and have Monte pull you down the street.

Cooking kielbasa, peppers and onions.  There's a nice loaf of artisan bread to go with it.  There's also a half-gallon of freshly brewed ice tea handy. 

Sometimes it's just fantastic being me.

I had to cook at the bar today, and now we are having a 70's 80's disco party, and I am well on the way to my weekly drunk.

Jeez, I thought there would be a few people for it, but we are slammed, and people actually dressed up for it.  Too funny, people are idiots. 

Next month we are having a toga party, I can't wait to see it...I will actually dress up for that one :-X :-X :-X
