Title: Dual citizenship application......
Post by: denverslice on December 30, 2007, 02:57:22 PM
Hello all,
I know I am late to the party here, but would like to respectfully submit my application to golfho's.

In the spirit of full disclosure....

I DO continue to frequent FIG (FGI) however I tend to hangout in the swapshop and clubmakers forums. Kind of mining information and taking advantage of good deals on decent equipment.

In addition, I have two full bags of SMT gear. That said, it is because I like the gear, not nessesarily the koolaid. (a set of Maltby MMB or perhaps some Wishons may be in the offing should HO funds allow, Recovery don'tcha know) True statement cloaked in kiss a$$ parlance.

Anyway, I stumbled onto GD and this forum and ...well I must say, I am enjoying the banter here VERY, VERY much. Right up my alley.

So, as I remove my lips from the posteriors herein, I again respectfully request to be allowed dual citizenship as this forum feeds my sick mind and "the other one" feeds my addiction to clubbuilding.

I too can be bought.

Since Denver is taking my purple to school right now I'm conflicted.

But then I realize MN is really not that good. So I guess it's o.k.

Welcome denverslice. Make yourself at home and go get me a beer.  ;) ;D

Patience grasshopper.

It only takes an 8 page thread to explain it.  8) I think you need 20 posts to be able to give karma/smite to others.

Welcome, denverslice!

No need for the application, it's all good.  Lots of folks hang out here and at FGI, it's no big deal.

The intent here was never to be an exclusive club, but more to provide another option with a different environment.

LOL,

My Initial "application" was posted with tounge firmly planted in cheek....my own by the way.

As for reference to my choice of gear, it was also intended to provide some comedic "street cred" just that I choose to play what I enjoy building and playing rather than as a zombified koolaid drinker.

Promise to brush up on my online comedy delivery.

Thank you for the welcome. I do enjoy the ribbing as well......ribbed fro my pleasure it would seem.

Honestly we don't care what you play. Hell some of us don't play golf much if at all anymore. Some lucky bastards do play in huricane type weather at Bandon but we won't mention their names (Clive, UB). Anyway welcome to Golfhos

*and, perhaps, mis-attribution

Uhmmmm......I don't think you undertand.   Stoh, then myself are the consumers of that barley brew that cause brewers to buy more vats for fermentation.  I don't have to 'go get' you a beer cause I've got a mini-fridge right here next to the desk.

I've only got a case or so left.  Time to make a beer run.

Dual citizenship applications accepted automatically and without charge.  Uniform is extra.

Please note you cannot be king without bona fide expatriate status.  And, of course, the requisite inbred genealogy.

There are a few more rules but they're arbitrary and nonsensical.  A bit like stroh's hairdo come to think of it.

Oh, and if you can translate Australian it's an automatic bump in pay grade.

That's all for now.  Someone will be along later to make up more chit.

Oh I understand all right. It is jsut that, when out on the road, I too am a MAJOR contributor to Milwalkee's GDP.  I am suprised there are no golden church key awards available to me from the city fathers based on my prodigious consumption of their most honored brew.
