.... and I am sure my wife will give me the *feces* tomorrow, and you guys will hear my rant approx 36 hrs later.  :sad3:

I don't understand why majority women always compares! I mean, you have your share of ______ <-- (fill in the blank, in my case, wedding) and please so be it. Why does my wife always has to compare what she already had with others - and then give me the *feces*?!

Since I got marry I never complaint about anything. All the issue that starting to/already slided about her I just let it go. On the other hand I just keep copping *feces* every so often - usually it happens when I really need a atmosphere to do something.

In summary, this over work, over stress, under golf and under **** donkey has been sacrify everything possible just trying to keep the family and the partner happy but very often is not apperciated - and always got pick on issues created due to above conditions.

Maybe I am a cowboy [sm_disgust] and I guess my son will inherient that. So I will tell him not to get married and never have children!  [sm_devil]

Well bud, all I can say is enjoy the ceremony, and the party.

You know what you need, is to have Blader chime in.  He always knows what to say in these types of deals.

enjoy the party... I think its too hard for me. For the last 30 odd years I have always try to enjoy a party but never did. I don't drink nor smoke and I am not good at open conversation (even if I do no one will understand anyway), so its not helping at all.

just assume I have been toxicated when I wrote my comment. I didn't do spell check of whatever, I just push it out of my extremely unorganised brain.

Talking about rant... I somehow turn into this inner anger person. Even if I get a chance to play golf, all I want to talk is all sort of rant! I mean - who wants to listen to other problem when playing golf! So I rather not saying anything and do the hit and find and hit it again thing.

On Friday nite I have written some words on a piece of paper in front of my wife, and put it into her purse. Told her only open it after Sunday morning. (I will tell you why later)

Wedding went smooth enough on Saturday (from 6am - for preparations to 5pm - finish) but I am sorry that I really not a party person - IMO that's the 11 hours I can never get back from my life!

Thank god that this couple are probably one of the most awarded stingy couple in 2009 and their wedding is rather simple!

We all went home either exhausted/overly bored - none of us talk about it so 3 of us just went home - sleep in.

Sunday morning: I sort of waiting for my wife rant about on how good her friend's wedding compare to her own blahblahblah.... but by judging that quality of wedding I kind of reliefed. We proceed to do our washing/cleaning up/screaming at our son etc.... we usually do it on Saturday, so I can piss off for golf on Sunday. Not a chance this week.

Anyway, just in the middle of the cleaning up... my wife brought this up: "Their wedding is rather simple, our wedding seems more classy" I smiled, and knowing that I have written something on that piece of paper, I am thinking to removing it quietly. But while I am thinking about that, my wife speaks again: "But her wedding dress is prettier than mine"...

I was like - OH *fudge*! Here we go again....

So I told her to open up that little piece of paper in her purse and read it out loud.

There're 2 x paragraphs in there.

Exact words of 1st paragraph:
"Chances are you are going to bitch about how great is your friend's wedding compare to yours and you are going to give me hell on my only weekend day on Sunday! Please understand I have done the best I could in the past and I couldn't plan a more romantic + classy wedding within the strength of my rather limited imagination!!!"

She looked at me and give me the look of "Do you think I am that shallow??" and I return the eye roll of "You wanna bet?!"

Exact words of 2nd paragraph:
"And you probably will rant about your friend's wedding dress is prettier than yours! Please understand 2 things:
1) No matter how great the wedding dress look - all the grooms in the world will only do 1 thing - ripped the dress open in the quickest way and do whatever they want to do with the content inside!
2) I think you were/are/and will be the prettiest bride/wife/female creatures I have ever met in my life - SO QUIT BITCHING YOU COMPETITIVE WOMAN!!"

To my surprise - she had a big laugh about it and seems pretty happy for the rest of the day. I guess I have done well with little bit of humour touch. At least I had a very peacful-lish Sunday.

Pity there's no golf involved :(
