It's going to be Friday a long time for me today. I'm heading back to the States. I always love going home from over here......flight departs at 3:05pm and arrives in Minnesota at 11:00am the same day.

Time travel is cool.   8)

Then I'm just going to try and stay awake until my normal bedtime.

My plans are to play golf.

Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating with my plans.

I guess I'll have to start the plumbing project I've been putting off.

I forgot, I might go shopping, I want a dishwasher.
Russell got a ride-on lawn-mower a few weeks ago, so we agreed it was time we finally got a dishwasher as well. ;D

My plan is to pick up some yarn finish another crochet project.  This one is for   Garrett's on 3rd birthday.

How long have you got, before you have to finish your new project, Eagle?

His birthday is March 7th, so I have almost 2 weeks to finish it.  I haven't done a teddy bear before (just a small one), so I'm not all that sure how long it will take me.  I finished the head and body in 2 days, which leaves the arms and legs and overalls.  I think I'll have it done with a little less than a week to spare. :)

Well, I could lock myself in my room, but I'm kinda needed around here when he's awake to chase him around (and hope that I can keep him from doing more destruction than he already does - lol).  So yes, I do try to do it when he's sleeping.  And I'll happily post a pic when it's complete.  :)

My lovely bride leaves a week from Friday on an 8-day trip, so this weekend is helping her get ready (out of country trip, severe packing limitations), spending time with her, and working.

Oh yeah, and carelessly slapping together a couple wedges for stroh.

Well, that is an idea. :P ;D

Just use duct tape, it will be faster and Stroh won't notice.

Yeah, he does know how to hold the control right.  And also that he needs to poke buttons.  Now he just needs to learn that the buttons control what his person does on the screen.  Well, I think he figured that out, too, just not which buttons make his guy do what.

He is quite affluent in Tux Paint, too. 8)  He even knows how to get to the previously saved pics to look at them or to edit one. 8) 8)

Wife left this morning for Poland on a pottery and crystal shopping trip.  After work today, I'll be taking care of the girls and no telling what we will be doing.

Costa Rica.  She wants to strangle some dudes in a headlock, and I'm apparently not enough of a challenge for her.  I'm staying behind with the Young Master ... and looking forward to it!  Going to squire him about town, teach him to pee standing up (if I can get the hang of it), watch golf in our diapers, and check out power tools at a Man Store.  Might even go get more tats.

I've been working on stuff in advance to keep my vacation days as clear as possible.  Relatives will watch the Young Master one day, as it's mandatory that I attend the monthly all-day global meeting.  The Blackberry will remain charged, as always.  The hardest thing will be to keep my mind off of it, but I suspect watching my son will work to my advantage.  8)  (I"m reminded of Dave Barry and his description of a phone call with a friend while he watched his son, his side of it punctuated with "No no no", "Put that down -- put that down!" and "Never put your finger in that part of the doggie!")

(I resist only incompletely the urge to point out that "partnership" and "LLC" are mutually exclusive.  [sm_devil])

We are taking the baby over to friends for a barbeque.  Thunderstorms are coming tonight so that is always exciting.  And we pick up Mrs. Walfredo's new car tomorrow.  Should be a pretty good weekend.
