It is really positioned to revolutionize the digital living room. Some projections (not Apple's) have it being the #1 DVR within a few years and it doesn't even have that capability in rev. 1.

I wanted to listen to live365.com on my home entertainment system and it turns out I can get that through TiVo. I had to sign up for a premium membership, but since I have Tivo hooked into our wireless network, I'm good to go.
I'll probably run a CAT5 cable to the TiVo instead of the wireless connection for better sound, but I can avoid some of those other options (at less until the RIAA kills internet radio).
