Title: Getting transfered. Post by: Spanky on December 17, 2009, 01:04:41 PM On Monday I interviewed for a technician position at the new 300mm wafer fab just up the road from where I work. Same company just a newer fab. Got the call today and they offered me one of the positions. It might be a different shift but still days. I am very excited as they are just opening this building up. They (we) are still installing equipment and will start running January or February.
I'm sure there will be a lot of pressure as the ramp up schedule is very aggressive. We started installing equipment in October and want to be fully qualified by the end of 2010.
