Yeh, I know, players, equipment, fields = stronger, faster at same "weight" as in the past. Players also equal bigger paydays and can't afford to get hurt, blahblah. But honestly, (and I know I'm just about one of the youngest people here)... when I remember football growing up (got seriously interested around age 8 ).... ...this is what I remember games/hits/tackles looking like.... Mostly though the DBs would rather just trip people up then hit them. Linemen and Linebackers will still hit if given the chance.
