Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: JDerion on January 06, 2007, 04:08:35 PM Picks? I'll go 23-20, Seahawks.
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Aske on January 06, 2007, 04:09:32 PM well, with my great prognostication on the colts-chiefs game, i'll go out on the line here
cowboys 38, sehags 24. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: JDerion on January 06, 2007, 04:20:44 PM well, with my great prognostication on the colts-chiefs game, i'll go out on the line here What was your call on the colts game? FWIW, I reluctantly went with the Colts, but I was REALLY close to picking the Chiefs. cowboys 38, sehags 24. The Cowboys game, I really have no idea. It could go either way. Whoever pulls their heads out of their arses will win. Whoever pulls their heads out of their arses will win. i thought they would run johnson to death and win. (didnt put a score)... but figured 4-7 points. when the colts stacked the box early and edwards kept running into it (combined with the chiefs dropping every pass attempt)... i knew it was over [sm_disgust] Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: dystopia on January 06, 2007, 04:24:32 PM I'll go with 31-10 cowboys
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Aske on January 06, 2007, 04:33:50 PM oh *feces*, i didnt know seahags lost ANOTHER cb.

Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Aske on January 06, 2007, 04:51:53 PM well, have fun everyone, I'm heading out to a sports bar to watch at least teh 1st half
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 06:06:44 PM is anyone more of a blowhard than sharpe? ugh Hmmm, where do I start?1. Michael Irvin 2. Deion Sanders 3. Joe Theisman 4. Tony Kornheiser 5. Mike Tirico 6. Chris Collinsworth(less) 7. Bob Costas Well, basically anyone on NBC except Al Michaels and John Madden. 8. Boomer Esiason That should do it for starters. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: spacey on January 06, 2007, 06:23:27 PM well, have fun everyone, I'm heading out to a sports bar to watch at least teh 1st half Is anyone besides me sort of amused at the thought of Aske in a sports bar? Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 07:48:08 PM I bet they overturn this one. That ball looked to be out of bounds in the endzone.

ROFL!! Although, I guarantee, in public, he is as regular joe-blue jeans as the rest of us. Big tipper too, from what I understand. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 07:53:30 PM Overturned - safety. :-\
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 07:55:51 PM Alas, another Dallas meltdown. ;D
The safety actually worked to Seattle's benefit, as they got that and the ensuing touchdown. Man, Dallas needs to draft some help in the secondary. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Teed on January 06, 2007, 08:13:42 PM OMG!! :o :o :o
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 08:17:31 PM Well, Tony Romo needs to look on the positive side of things. He can now be the national spokesman for Butterfinger. :'( ;) ;D
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: G5 on January 06, 2007, 08:24:54 PM Well, this was a good game, but frankly I don't think it matters, cause the Bears are gonna kill the Seahawks next week.
Yes, I am already assuming Philly is going to win tomorrow. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: JDerion on January 06, 2007, 08:25:27 PM Picks? I'll go 23-20, Seahawks. If the Hawks had only converted that 2 pointer... ;)Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Aske on January 06, 2007, 08:35:51 PM well, i was pretty close on the hags score
way off on day boyz score *fiddlesticks* your romo! ;D Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Torpedo on January 06, 2007, 09:06:56 PM Whoa crazy game towards the end. :o
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Seamus on January 07, 2007, 12:25:45 AM That was one crazy game to watch in person, we got lucky, but sometimes you need luck.
I wish you guys could appreciate how loud that stadium gets, it's amazing for being outdoors, I saw a db meter register 117 tonight, isn't that like a jet engine taking off. My ears are still ringing and I've been inside my house for 4 hours now. Seahawks in an upset next week, the 1.5 passer rating grossburger shows up and we win 28-20. Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Art Vandelay on January 07, 2007, 05:24:45 AM Well, Tony Romo needs to look on the positive side of things. He can now be the national spokesman for Butterfinger. :'( ;) ;D Honorable mention to Martin "I'm not gonna block that guy" Gramatica. Romo picks up the botched snap and appears to be going in for the TD. There was only one Seahawk that had a chance to stop him. I think Gramatica wished him a good evening as he ran by him. The guy is able to dive and trip up Romo on a shoestring tackle. If Gramatica or puts up any semblance of a block, it's TD Cowboys. Romo needed one more stride for a first down, stride and a half for the TD. Besides,if Romo could run faster than my grandma without stumblin' and bumblin',no blocks would have been needed. and Romo should have thrown to the guy in the corner of the end zone instead and maybe the FG is not even attempted....... ;) Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Torpedo on January 07, 2007, 07:47:23 AM Romo needed one more stride for a first down, stride and a half for the TD ... ... but was too slow. ;D Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: Eagleone on January 07, 2007, 08:38:19 AM Amazing that they were annoiting him as the second coming of Aikman and Staubach just a few weeks ago -- heck they already had him on the ring of honor. Not a cowboy fan by no means and while the event was no doubt probably one of the worse things that could happen to him on the field, I didn't mind. [sm_shock] [sm_devil] ;D
Title: Re: cowboys- seahags Post by: stroh on January 07, 2007, 08:42:20 AM At least he was (accused of) bangin' Simpson.
