It is amazing to listen to the party who's recent Veep once said this: "You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter," And then went out and acted accordingly suddenly decide that deficits do, in fact, matter. Now, if they could just convince anybody but themselves that it's more than just partisan bull*feces*, they might get somewhere. Unfortunately, 5 successive Republican Presidential terms all resulted in deficits. The last POTUS to balance a budget was a Democrat. They really do think people are stupid. At this rate, my guess is they will bottom out at ~15%....pretty much just the bitterz who grew up with Timothy McVeigh posters in their bedrooms.
