Title: Best Iron Maiden Album
Post by: spacey on January 06, 2007, 06:58:01 PM
I know it's been asked before, but it's worthy of repeat. Please be honest, this is very important.

A couple of things to note:

-The Blaze Bailey era was not real Maiden and is not worthy of mention. You may think one of the albums with him was the best, you are wrong.

-Albums featuring Janik Gers might be worthy of a handicap as he ultimately blows, but contributed to a couple of fine albums.

-You may believe Maiden is teh sukk, you are wrong and should shut up and go away, you're serving no purpose here.

Vote early and vote often.

This one? (He's dressed as a Red Coat btw  ;).)

The Trooper was a single, but it was on the album Piece of Mind.

Vote for Somewhere in Time. It's almost a tie with Powerslave.  ;)

I voted for Somewhere in time, because, "Serving no purpose here" was such a commercial sukk ass waste!

I can't choose, but I chose the number of the beast anywhere.

Anyone remember in which album is rhyme of the ancient mariner?

Powerslave. Which is an excellent choice BTW.

Had to go with Somewhere in time.  Great band live!!

The last band I was in, 21 years ago...Wraithchild.  Best concert I ever went to...Maiden/Twisted Sister (Powerslave, if memory serves).  Twisted Sister was loud and the music was crap, but Dee got the crowd going.  Maiden simply rocked.

I went with Number Of The Beast.  Don't get me wrong, I also dig almost every Maiden album.

"Woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the
beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the
beast for it is a human number, its number is Six hundred and
sixty six."

Do I have to say more?
