Title: Added another cert to the resume Post by: APTech on February 13, 2007, 03:42:02 PM The AP decided all tech's needed to get IT certifications. Mind you, when I started almost 8 years ago it was for my electronics/satellite experience with some basic pc/mac knowledge sprinkled in. The job for me is changing, moving more toward being an IT person. We needed the CompTIA A+ before November 1, 2006 or we would be shown the door. Obtained that one on October 20. Also need to have the Network+ by April 30, 2007. Took the exam yesterday and passed that one too. Rumor has it that as part of our next contract, we will need to get Server+, so I will start working to that end. I also plan on getting Security+, Linux+, and some Micro$haft certifications as well. My signature will reflect those changes.
