My last day on the job is Wednesday, and after that I'll be working from home in full-on recluse/"never see daylight" mode. I took 6 months off in 2000 for "peternity" leave when I got my beagle pup. The only interaction with the outside I had back then was going to the dog park and the occasional midnight supermarket run. This time I'm not going to be as hardcore, though. I have some friends working on their own stuff out of their homes that I'll meet for coffee. Also, I'm going to force myself to attend various geek events around here to get out of the house.
