Title: Grilled Cheese In The VCR? Post by: stroh on June 06, 2007, 07:33:07 PM Sorta. Came home to the boss a little terse. Later discover the TV remote with the batteries out.......propped up with the dishes. Apparently there was an incident. ::) An accident, by the younger partner of the firm. :P
Across the counter........straight into the sink full of soapy water. HOOO Buddy. Glad I wasn't there. :-[ :-X I just threw the batteries back in, and ....nada. Got the screwdriver, and cracked her open(the remote ;) ) and it was still pretty moist. Hopefully it comes back. Title: Re: Grilled Cheese In The VCR? When I looked at it and saw the water it was everything I could do from killing him.

Something like $65 from the manufacturer.

Got it back with a couple of toy soldiers that had been removed from the tape carrier taped on top. ::)

Before his Mom got home, we tore it apart, dried the insides carefully with a hair dryer, and put it back together. It worked!
