Finally watched the premier yesterday online and then watched ep. 2 immediately after. So far so good. Most compelling thing thus far is, what's up with the Latin Wonder Twins? Weird *feces*.

You had to know Peter would be back, otherwise it invalidates too much of last season. He did, after all, have Claire's healing (and now apparent regenerative) power. The "Hiro in feudal Japan" storyline is turning out to be better than I anticipated at the end of last season. Wondering how the Bennets continue to live the way they do, now that they're on the lam. All the talk about maintaining a low profile and yet living in that house on an asst. manager at a copy house salary bothers me. Hopefully they address it, otherwise it's problematic. Suresh working for The Company has lots of potential...

The Latin twins storyline is really intriguing.  Having the healer really see what was going on with the female twin was a nice touch.  Her powers are evil enough to kill the devil himself -- sounds like a key player to me.

Sylar?

I don't think it's Sylar again this season (though the commercials seem to say he will play a role next week).  The little girl that can find things has been describing a villain worse than Sylar.

Nooooo... we don't get the first episode until tomorrow.... yay! beats waiting 6 months for a seriesw to be shown here...

So next week we get to see what Sylar and Niki/DL have been up to.

I actually got kind of bored of the Niki/Jessica storyline last season since it seemed so tangential to all the other things going on up until the end.

After two episodes this season, so far I'm most interested in what's going on with:
1) who's going after the Old School Heroes (Takei, Mother Petrelli)
2) Bennet, Suresh, and the Haitaian trying to take down The Company
3) Peter rediscovering his powers (in Ireland?)

Starting to get bored of:
1) Claire and her voyeuristic high school buddy
2) Hiro back in time
3) little girl with nightmares in NYC

I seem to have forgotten a lot of last season already.  Did they ever specify the powers of Mother Petrelli?

I don't think they ever told us what Mother Petrelli's powers were.  I guess Hiro's dad's power is that he's really good with swords?

I agree that Hiro back in time is going to get boring fast.  He'd better save the sword maker quick -- though I'd imagine that the swordsmith is going to be an interesting character.

I actually like the Claire + buddy storyline.  Especially since we know that the buddy is a hero too.  Could get interesting - though I'm thinking the buddy will get killed off somehow.

I was a day early... it was on last night... after the premier of "The Bionic Woman"... that in it self was kinda interesting.

Who'd have thought the sword guy in Japan was English :o
