Title: Hottie Threads?
Post by: spacey on February 15, 2007, 01:02:50 PM
In light of a couple of interesting points dystopia brought up in the "Bar Exam" thread, (which I had honestly never thought of before) I think it's time to put this democracy thing to work and see what the golfhos community thinks about hottie threads here.

Vote or die.

An inspired post including a hottie pic that has some relevance to the discussion, even humorously, is fine (properly tagged).  Hottie threads, though, are just lame.

That's just Imfo.

Voted no.  Considered 'anarchy rules' but I really don't want to see a neked Johnny Rotten.

I get to see a hottie every day.  What do I need to see one on the internet for?   [sm_love]

I personally don't care for the hottie threads. I surf here @ work and could get into to trouble over some of stuff posted.  And anyways, if I am in a "looking at hotties mood", I'm going full tilt hardcore pron.  I need to feel like going to confessional when I am done for it to be worth my time. [sm_shock]

I voted that I don't care if they are infrequent and properly labeled.  But I don't want my work's cyber nanny to block this site.  So I have no problem with them if they are from a site that isn't considered naughty.  A sports illustrated link is fine with me every now and then.

Now that I have an I-Mac which is a fully functioning pröñ machine I can find all I want on my own.

I don't care. But I know where to go to see them if I want. I would not miss them if they weren't here.

Personally, and I've said this before, that the lack of hottie threads was a positive thing for this forum.

However, and I know I've posted two recent pics, that aslong as they're properly tagged I think its ok.... in moderation.

I think at this point there have been maybe only two threads out of the several thousand posts already in the Saloon, Cantina, Kennel, Lounge, Bus Stop or whatever it's called today... ;) just don't call it the "Outhouse" which of course has nothing to do with being "Outed" NTTAWWT.

Anyway that is all right now.... back to work you bums!

Cheers

 ;D

I'm on here a lot at work and as long as my work gets done thats ok.

But if they think I'm looking at nekked wemen on their dime I could get in trouble.

I look at that kind of stuff at home when I'm alone with the lights down low and.....

Well that enough info for most of you.

I voted 'no'.   I'll probably get smited for saying this, but I find them offensive*.  If I were a lurker, and saw those threads, I'd close my browser and walk away.

* - You can ask me why, if you want, but first consider if you really want to hear a feminist diatribe.

I am FAR from what passes as a feminist or feminist empathizer these days.  And yet I'm gonna karmalize you anyway.  +1.

It's a respect issue for me.  I know others don't see it that way and I acknowledge and even understand their point of view.  As per most things, it's not black and white.

Websters dictionary defines harangue as "a national slogan meaning let's pull together. Used esp. in Kenya."

I voted no. As I've said on FGI, there's something about a bunch of dudes ooogling pics online that has a really gay cyber locker room circle jerk quality to it. As others have mentioned, a relevant pic inserted in a thread is one thing, but when the thread is dedicated to it I think it's lame.

No, without the rest of the reason.  I don't go looking for it, and I'd really prefer that it not be brought to me.  There are more reasons, too, but I'll just say "no thanks" and beg you all not to if need be.

I voted "no" for many of the reasons stated above, but I think there should be an exception for fully clothed golfers (i.e. no Gulbis swimsuit shots; yes Anna Rawson marking her ball)

Actually with regard to #17, if you mix his remains with the waste it's possible those pesky CSI-types won't find him since he was clearly full of *feces* to begin with.
