Title: Sniper steps up
Post by: stegerman on February 07, 2007, 11:46:00 AM
I don't consider myself a regular contributor because I can't always find the time to log in, but I figure I post enough to step up and put my feet in the stirrups.

Ask away.

Billings. Attended college at the University of Montana (Missoula)

Why Boise? Likes/dislikes about it?
Likes: In a lot of ways, it's like Montana but with an economy and a culture. Great climate, geography. You can drive 1 hour in any direction and camp, climb, hike, fish, ski, bicycle, boat, or kayak (whitewater or lake). 4% unemployment rate. Cost of living still pretty affordable although the gap between wages and housing is getting larger. Dislikes: Lack of cooperation between bureaucracies around good growth planning. A lot of urban sprawl is happening.

Favorite golfhos contributor? Least favorite? ( [sm_devil])
Favorite: iwishicouldhit. Reading her posts makes me feel like climbing the rope in gym class. Least favorite: I can honestly say no one. I think everyone tries to get along which is what I like.

My grandfather who I wote about in the "time period" thread. My biggest regret is my son never got to meet him.

Quote
Favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
Donatello, duh.

Quote
*8==>* York or *8==>* Sargent?
*8==>* Trickle

Quote
What ever happened to Chuck Cunningham?
After graduating from college with a degree in astrophysics, he spent 10 years bumming around Bangkok and Thailand on the underground taro card circuit before he was "Bobbed" or "Star Trekked". He returned home and was hired on by NASA and most recently has found himself at the center of a love triangle that involves diapers, pepper spray and duct tape. Needless to say, Mrs. C is devastated.

Quote
Favorite pizza topping/s?
BBQ Chicken or Garlic Chicken

Quote
General feelings about people who fart in elevators?
Jealousy

Quote
Is it the heat or the humidity?
Depends on if it's a dry heat or wet cold.

Quote
How many roads must a man walk down?
Drive an SUV. Global warming is a crock.

What are your thoughts on Boise (city) being the county seat of Ada County, which is situated right next to Boise County of which Idaho City is the county seat?

Why is it deemed unnecessary to tell Mountain Time Zone viewers the broadcast times of their TV programs?

2. Do you prefer to play golf in the morning, or afternoon?
3. Out of all the characters, on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", who are you most like.
4. From the tv show "Charlies Angels", who was your favourite angel?
5. Are you a steak, veg, and egg's type of guy, or do you prefer a gourmet meal?

Rule #6

Two CEO's are having meeting. They get interrupted by one the the CEO's staff. The employee is in a panic and begins shouting and gyrating trying to get there point across through their hysteria. The CEO raises his hand and says "Rememer rule#6." The employee apologizes and leaves the room. This scene repeats itself three more times before the end of the meeting. While they are wrapping up the other CEO says, "I have to ask about rule #6. That was amazing." The first CEO responds, "We don't have very many rules around here, but I demand the ones we do have get folowed without exception. Rule #6 is 'You're not that damn important.' "

I was totally lame. We were on a bike ride and I said, "So you want to get married?" This year is 15 years and I'm planning on renewing our vows, reproposing, the whole bit. I hope she says yes.

2. Do you prefer to play golf in the morning, or afternoon?
yes

Quote
3. Out of all the characters, on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", who are you most like.
Ted Knight. **edit** I read who do I like. So to answer accurately it would be Ted Baxter.

4. From the tv show "Charlies Angels", who was your favourite angel?
Tanya Roberts or Cheryl Ladd

5. Are you a steak, veg, and egg's type of guy, or do you prefer a gourmet meal?
Quesadilla and a bottle of -2 below. I eat typicaly to sustain myself, not for the love of food. That said, my wife is an amazing cook so I am pretty lucky like that.

Does a bicycle (or any other device with wheels, cranks, rubber tubes and/or banana seats) figure in the evening's festivities in some manner?

I think bicycle-riding snipers are a problem.  What do you propose?

I switched to a visor last year.

But after an intervention by fellow golfers I realized I was just acting out.
