Title: Aussie Aussie Aussie GO PACK GO
Post by: Fuzzy on October 30, 2007, 09:38:04 AM
Now I'm convinced. Australians are an odd lot.  ;D ;)

Aussie uproots family, comes to America to cheer at every Packers game

GREEN BAY, WIS. — Wayne Scullino didn't let an ocean, a job or raising two toddlers come between him and his dream. The 30-year-old quit his job with a telecommunications company in Sydney, Australia, sold his home and convinced his wife to move to the United States — to follow the Green Bay Packers. "One person said to me, 'Man, you're crazy! That's the craziest thing I ever heard. You're following the Packers? They're not even any good,'" Scullino said. He responded: "Yeah, but things mean more to some people." He, his wife and two boys are going to every Packers game this season and paying for it with the proceeds from their home. Scullino's dream to move to Green Bay started when he was 15 years old. A friend gave him a video tape of a year-old game between the Packers and the Minnesota Vikings.

Damn Pack home games aren't easy to get tickets for either.  That man sounds dedicated enough to be our fan I'd say.  And I can say "our" since I'm a shareholder.   8)

I hope it was the Monday Night game in '98 of Randy Moss' rookie season, where he went 3 touchdowns and we trounced their sorry cheese ass.

Stroh jumps into the way back machine to find the last time the Vike's trounced the Pack.

That wasn't 16 years ago.

What the report failed to mention was the fact that Government and the people of Australia voted to disown him for his complete and utter lack of support for Australian Rules Football.  Subsequently his passort has been stamped "Never to return"
