a lot of these are the same plays made by the defender (exlcuding meriweather on heap, and the clowns hit on shipley), but the offensive player ducks down or moves while the defender has already initiated the effort to hit him "clean". penalizing the defender for that? stupid. put skirts on them. I can't wait till some 5th string WR intentionally headbutts a star CB/S then flops around dizzy on the field soccer style , acts concussed, just to get him ejected and suspended. nevermind a lot of emerging science shows the REAL head trauma occurs on the line where repeated accumulated minor helmet to helmet hits occur just about ever play, just with far less momentum and not involving "star" skill players. Massoquoai got hurt, and that's too bad, and really I know the NFL wants to protect players.... but he DUCKED his head and went fetal because he heard the truck coming, and the contact of the tackle came from a shoulder that was GOING to be in his chest.
