It's Saturday morning here (thank god!!) just lazing around watching the golf.
Russell is going to golf this afternoon, and I think I am having drinks with the girls this afternoon.
I'm trying to work out how I can get out of going, grocery shopping, but I can't figure that one out!! ;D

hmm... baby stuff... and more baby stuff,... then playing in the Holden Scramble with my Dad and Brother in Law tomorrow...yay ;D

Drinking tonight.

Presumably, that will generate ideas for the rest of the weekend.

We're playing at my dad's course: Kingswood... I used to be a member there about too about 15 years ago.

Combined handicap is 35 i think... ;)

It's some nice gear... I've got a wardrobe full of Holden gear from these events... shame I don't drive a holden ;)

I've always wanted to play in one, but I'm not really good enough, I wouldn't be able to relax and have a good time, as it would be pretty serious!

You don't need to be really good, you just need to be consistant.... this year they've changed the format, so that the really good players don't have so much of an advantage...

Nah... haven't really come close... best finish at a local event was 4th with something like a net 60, where there winners had a net 58 :'(

Drinking tonight (friday), hopefully golf tomorrow morning but it may rain, drinks out with a would be girlfriend (and others) in the evening, golf again sunday morning (unless I get lucky with said woman - then afternoon golf ;).

A lovely, attractive woman that I've known for a few years now - but much of that time she was dating someone else.  This is no longer the case  [sm_naughty]

Well my weekend is almost 3/4 over. I am off Wed - Sat.  ;D

Had to deal with 2 sick kids and rain. Got out today to mow the yard and ended up bending the blade. [sm_banghead] [sm_pod]. Oldest has a baseball game right now, I am home with the two youngest. Wife and I have a soccer game tonight at 11:58 :P

Tomorrow, baseball practice, birthday party and probably something else I forgot.

Drinking. Then I'm going to fight my dog. He's a mean drunk though, so he usually wins.

Actually, we have a showing of our house tomorrow!  [sm_fingersx]  Prolly hit an antique show here at the local fairgrounds (stepmom should be there with her hubby.  Haven't seen her in a while)  There is also a carnival set up, we may take Maddie to.  We'll see.  I said we'll see damn it!!  Don't push me......

It's an effort to get dressed and go into town to the chemist for some flu tablets.
I had a good game of golf yesterday, until I came to the dreaded 14th, 15th, and 16th holes, and everything fell to pieces! :(

It was a good weekend for me.  Wife and I took the pooch for a long hike on Sat. to celebrate his 7th birthday.  Unfortunately, I'm out of shape these days, and we didn't go very far.

Last weekend we went to Cooktown to play golf, and it was quite hilly.  I know what you mean, my legs were really sore after walking two days of golf, on a hilly course!

I didn't have nearly as much fun as the rest of you. I cleared out 3 dead trees we had cut donw last fall. Nearly 100* today. Broke the pull on my pushmower. Did get to go hit balls yesterday, so that's something.
