Unless it's digital. Then it's just *fudge*ed. Title: Re: 1984, Govna Post by: Clive on January 11, 2007, 07:29:02 AM Yeah, and a broken watch is right twice a day. The digital watch is right twice a day as well, unless it's in military time mode or has an AM/PM indicator. Then just once. Unless it's also day/date, but that'd apply equally to the analog watch, I guess.Unless it's digital. Then it's just *fudge*ed. Title: Re: 1984, Govna Post by: TFT on January 11, 2007, 12:23:13 PM Just in case anyone had their sarcasm fliter malfunctioning, I am all in favour of the transport police.
I don't see the big difference between them and air marshals, they seem to be an acceptable given. The guy on the London bus doesn't carry a gun though. I can see where some Americans think that cameras and a police presence is somehow robbing them of some liberty, I just don't agree with it. The foretelling of doom doesn't turn me on either. Don't you find that your polyvinyl ones get a bit too sweaty, too fast? |
